So, I know you just arrived, but what do you think of the settlement so far? Isn't it great? Everyone has been really wonderful in helping to build this place up. And that's where you come in, friend!

If you can get the raw materials, I can show you how to refine them into even better materials. Then, even better, I'll show you how to contribute them to a project here at the settlement! Stone comes from those big boulders all around, the Wood is, of course, from trees, and Rawhide can be skinned from the animals running around. Here's a list of everything we need.

You should be able to get everything you need with simple tools, but they have a habit of breaking. They're pretty simple to make, so you shouldn't have any problems if that happens.

When you have everything on the list, bring it all back here and I'll show you what great things you can do with refining! And then, we'll work on a Town Project! So hurry back, all right? Thanks!

You can find all kinds of requests on the Town Project board, and if you help out with them, not only do you get a reward from it, you also get to help out with projects across the entire Territory! Everything from improving the workshops to reinforcing the walls of the Fort is handled there, and you get to take advantage of those benefits after they're complete.
