Error of Their Ways

Quest Giver:

Losing the villages to the north... that's a heavy blow. I'll have to let some people know what happened. We've been driven out of our homes, lost plenty of good people... we could really use a win right now. Perhaps... that's something you could help with.

Before we lost Dayspring Mills, we had started constructing a port to the northeast called Nyhart's Anchorage. During the retreat, Anchorshot Pirates from that eyesore fortress took advantage of the chaos and raided the port. A lot of people were injured in that fight, and most of our construction tools and rations were left behind.

I'd like you to bloody those pirates up some, show them they can't just take what they want, and recover some of those tools.

Progress:

If I didn't have so much to occupy me here, I'd come with you to Nyhart's Anchorage. I'd love to knock a few pirate heads in, get a bit of payback for what happened... And if I thought more people could handle themselves, I'd gather together a force to go along with you and really hurt those pirates... but there aren't enough who actually know their way around a blade or a musket, and I'll not put more of them in danger than necessary.

You look a bit weighed down there. Dare I hope you were able to recover the rations and toolchests from those damned pirates?

Perfect! This win is exactly what we needed to keep everyone's spirits up. While the tools can be replaced, a lot of work went into creating them, and having them back will save us time and resources. The rations will also give our hunting parties the ability to range farther afield.

Not to mention, those Pirates got a taste of their own medicine. Good on you!
