Ancient Craftsmanship is a Quest in New World MMORPG. Objective: Find Ancient artifacts from Celestial Ancient Guardians at the Antares or Achernar ruins and return to Artificer Gomes.
Though the search in the Traitor's Hold and the Mines may have failed, one source of mystery never ceases to deliver. The Ancients that once lived here have left their mark all over the island, from their giant statues to their Guardian soldiers that have been reduced to animated bones locked in eternal servitude.
Though they be shambling skeletons, their power is deceptively strong. What I'm interested in, however, is the secrets they keep. The craftsmanship of the Ancients must have been unheard of, and I wish to investigate it.
Visit the ruins of the Divine Rise to the southeast, and defeat the Celestial Ancient Guardians there until you find artifacts of the Ancients.
I admire the Ancients, their statues and towers that dot the island inspire an awe that only true people dedicated to crafting could have created. However, some of them clearly have four arms in their statues. Could they really have been "people?"
Ah, these orbs are marvelous! The smooth marble is delicate and cold to the touch, and it seems to hum with an unknown energy. They're a perfect sphere, with no imperfection or oblong bias. I'm certain that no human could have created something this perfect, but just seeing it fills me with an unknown dread.
At this rate, I can see why the Syndicate is so interested in learning the secrets of this island. Even just scratching the surface with these orbs drives me to discover more.
Thank you for bringing this to me. It somehow inspires me, but terrifies me at the same time. How curious... I'll study these artifacts longer, but the more I stare at it the more I feel it drawing me in.
