Follow The Rabbit

Quest Giver:

Sometimes I wonder if Overseer Lewis is scared of her own shadow. The woman is downright paranoid these days. Last I saw her she was out repairing the settlement gates when a noise in a bush frightened her so badly that she ran into my bar near-tears and shaking. When I went out with my musket to see what the noise was? A Chalky Rabbit. Really. That level of cowardice is going to make repairs on the gates take much longer than it should.

For the sake of our gates and for poor Overseer Lewis' mortal soul, why don't you help me out with something? Since Rabbits are so plentiful in Everfall, could you retrieve their feet as charms of luck and good fortune for Lewis? Deliver the Rabbit's Feet to Overseer Lewis to bolster her spirits the next time she has to go outside of the settlement walls to repair them.

Progress:

As easy as it would be to make fun of Lewis for her fears I think our time is better spent assuaging them. We can't have the gates falling into disrepair because our Overseer is too afraid to go out and repair them. Luckily for us she's as superstitious as she is cowardly, so these Rabbit's Foot charms should bring her some peace of mind.

I feared I may have embarrassed myself beyond all reputational repair the last time I ran into her bar screaming that I was being watched, what with how hardy she is and how soft I can be, but this gesture really is a kind one.
