Gum in the Works is a Quest in New World MMORPG. Objective: Sabotage the Corrupted miners in the Profane Seam by raiding their supplies and thinning their numbers.
Eyeing my uniform, I see? Go ahead, you are free to look. As you have probably heard from my compatriots in this outpost, I am one the Greyjacks stationed here. Though the Corrupted are in fewer number here in Edengrove, they still pose a threat.
Take the Profane Seam, for example. Dedicated Corrupted mine-camps have sprung up in the area, and controlling them is important to our safety here. Would you lend a hand to sabotage their works? Steal their supplies and aid us in ridding the area of the Corrupted.
Have you been to the Seam yet? Those red maniacs think that hiding among the crags would keep them safe. They'd best think again.
Success! You're quite the warrior, aren't you? Sneaking into their camps like snake, and biting them where it hurts. You've done a good job! Stemming their efforts will help prevent them from developing further into Edengrove.
They are attempting to send supplies to the Great Cleave and Shattered Mountain by leeching the resources of other areas. Stopping this benefits the island as a whole. If you're looking for more heroic acts, I have my next plan of attack prepared.
