Blessings of the Fallen

Quest Giver:

Have you heard of Misty Borough, the village to the south? It's one of the few places outside of these outposts that's not touched by Corruption. No one is really sure why, but there are stories about it.

Long before I arrived here, the story goes that a holy Herald and his followers arrived on this island, traveling back and forth across it seeking a place of safe refuge. They eventually ended up all the way up here, then built that village, and somehow blessed the entire hilltop. I don't know how true it is, but the Corrupted haven't gone there, and even seem to avoid the place.

Could you look into the story? If it's true, and that Herald truly had a way of protecting his village from Corruption, perhaps we could use it across the island! Perhaps that Herald could even still be alive.

Progress:

If this story turns out to be true, this could completely turn the tide of the war against the Corruption. We could bless Great Cleave a bit at a time, drive the Corrupted back to the mountain, and finally beat them back to wherever they come from!

Please, you must find out what the Herald did on that hilltop!

I may be willing to sacrifice my life to fight the Corrupted, but I refuse to give up my soul and the souls of all those around us. That is a line that should never be crossed.
