Every ship to land on this shore, every soul sucked into the deep... such a waste. Lives snuffed out like a candle. Rumors of this place in the Old World made it sound like Paradise... but no. It is the other, but with a prettier face.
I will not give up my fight easily, and I do not think you will, either.
You have seen those shipwrecks in the shallows? These Drowned have kept me busy here, so I have not yet searched them. Go and take a look, try to find anything that could help us stay alive.
Do not be concerned with the Drowned. Whatever was once human in them has long passed, held beneath the waves where they perished... a shell is all that remains. Mind you, that shell can still swing a sword hard enough to injure, so be wary... But do not regret sending them to a grave again.
It is unclear how many of those crates may be intact, but some items of use may still be found. The Drowned have also been known to carry trinkets and such, remnants of their old lives... and perhaps, of their new.
