Malevolent Offerings

Malevolent Offerings is a Quest in New World MMORPG. Objective: Put an end to the rituals in Lapsus and Pullus by eliminating the Festerspike and Feralrim Vicars and their guards, then find and take the Corrupted ritual implements

Quest Giver:

Honored to meet you, I'm Warden Tinibu of Mountainrise. It is nice to see a new face around here, even in these difficult times. Given that you've fought your way to us here, I suppose you're not here for fun, are you?

Ah! Well... if you are truly here to help, there is a situation that we've recently discovered. At the Lapsus and Pullus forts to the northwest, our Rangers have noticed the Vicars gathering and doing some strange things. Even stranger than what we'd normally expect, I should say.

Some march from Lapsus to Pullus, do some kind of ritual below that Malevolence Thorn, then march back to Lapsus. Whatever it is, it must be important to them, which means that it's important we stop it.

I need you to take out those Vicars and the Patrollers guarding them, and stop the ritual. Then, if you can, bring back whatever they're using. We haven't gotten close enough to see exactly what those things are, but maybe having them will help us figure out what this is all for.

Progress:

I don't know what those Vicars are doing, all I know is that it can't be good for us. We need you to eliminate those Vicars and their Patroller guards, and steal whatever implements they're using.

Whatever this ritual thing is supposed to be, even if the island brings them back, they can't do it if they don't have the right tools, right?

Finish:

Wonderful job! We could hear the fighting from all the way up here! Sounds like you knocked those Corrupted right back under the rocks they crawled out from. Nicely done!

And what are these here? Bloody masks and strange claws... Hm. In the Old World, I'd think these were for some kind of ritual sacrifice, but here? That doesn't mean much when your victim will come back to life somewhere else... the old rules just don't apply here.

Curious. Whatever it means, you've certainly put a stop to it. Take this, as a bit of a reward. It isn't much, but I'll not have you thinking that your help isn't appreciated. Thanks, friend.
