The Bear of Scratchrock

Quest Giver:

Remember when you were gathering those antlers for me, I mentioned the bear with the nasty temper? Told you to steer clear of him? Well, I think it's finally time you meet him. You've done well so far, but this is a challenge that you haven't dealt with before.

He's still a young bear, but that doesn't make him any less dangerous. I'd recommend finding another fool adventurer or two like yourself before heading down there, for backup... or to drag you out if you need. Good luck.

Progress:

Seems reasonable that you're a bit scared... there's a reason I'm pointing you down there, and not going myself! I've already met him, and barely got out with my hide intact. But, as much as I hate to admit it, you're more skilled in the combat arts than I am. I think you'll do fine.

Finish:

One of my hunters sprinted back here and told me the news! Nice work! Now, I wouldn't go trying to bring down some of the bigger bears across the island quite yet, but you certainly took care of that one handily. I knew you could do more than clean up stray pups!
