Path to Myrkgard Arena is a Quest in New World MMORPG. Objective: Travel to Myrkgard and destroy the Corrupted Monoliths and Portals, collecting the Orbs hidden at each. Combine the Orbs with Captain Thorpe's Corrupted Aura to form the Myrkgard Arena Key, unlocking the Arena behind the Myrkgard Cathedral.\n\n[This Quest can be shared and repeated.]
The good news is, we think we've discovered the source of the Corrupted. The Monoliths in Myrkgard have created Portals to... somewhere, and the Corrupted have been pouring out nonstop.
The bad news... That Captain Thorpe you've been chasing? He's up there as well, walked out of the sealed Arena behind the Cathedral easy as can be. One of our Rangers watched him travel to each of those Portals with some kind of Orb, then return to the Cathedral. Didn't return to the Arena, though... maybe he can't without those Orbs.
You want a chance to strike at what's causing all of this? I think you'll need to get the Orbs from each of those Corrupted Monoliths and Portals, then face Captain Thorpe. Maybe then you'll have what you need to enter that Arena, and you can find out what's really going on here. I wouldn't recommend trying this by yourself, even as strong as you are. Find as many allies as you can, and take the fight to the Corrupted!
I've told you as much as we've been able to uncover. That Captain Thorpe of yours deposited an Orb at each of the Monoliths and Portals around Myrkgard, then retired back to the Cathedral. Our best guess is that having all of the Orbs will let you unlock the Arena, but we have no idea what that place holds.
Given the number of Corrupted involved, not to mention whatever you'll find in that Arena, I suggest you gather allies before setting out. I doubt they'll give you the Orbs without a fight, and I imagine whatever you'll find in that Arena won't be pleased to see you.
