I’ve been sent here by Ranger Madaki to keep watch on what the Corruption is planning in Myrkgard and the treacherous rift that runs through Illurmin. If I find out that you’ve led the Corruption here or anything fishy. I’ll hunt you down and make sure that you wouldn’t want to “come back”. Our numbers are too few to try anything fancy, so we’ve been searching for a weakness that we can use against them. Madaki has it in her head that these Corrupted weapons can turn the tide. Making our own version of them seems unnatural but it’s worth a shot. Let me see the plans that she entrusted you with. From what I make of it, these are blueprints for a sword and shield. Not crafted from any materials I’ve seen. You could carve your destiny and make a name for yourself with this sword. One condition! I get to leave my mark and name them. Hmm, I’ve always been partial to pushing my enemies off a cliff, so how about Twilight’s Fall for the sword and Boundless Ward for the shield? Now off you go! The materials needed will take you all across this cursed isle.

In order for me to forge "Boundless Ward" I require materials from the Scorched Mines in Shattered Mountain, you'll have to venture deep into Myrgard itself. Return here after gathering the crucial materials and I'll forge Boundless Ward for you. We might just have a chance at pushing back the Corruption...
