A small research team investigating the obelisks to the north was due to resupply here some days ago, and they have since disappeared. A group of travelers spotted a group matching their description heading east toward the Cygnus obelisk, so you may wish to begin your hunt there.
If you find anything, for good or ill, please deliver the news to Overseer Lewis in Everfall. He will want to know the fate of his people.
It is entirely likely that in their desire for discovery, the team pressed forward on their path and decided to forego the planned respite here... but plans are plans, and arrangements had already been made. If some alteration were to occur, they should have at least had the courtesy to send word, perhaps with those travelers that saw them last.
As I said, they were last seen heading toward the Cygnus obelisk.
