Making Sparks is a Quest in New World MMORPG. Objective: Obtain Flint Spalls, Bulrush Heads, and Steel Strikers for Survivalist Karsattin's tinderboxes.
Was hoping you'd stop by, have a job for you. I'm putting together tinderboxes for some of the newcomers here, the ones that don't know how to start a fire on their own. How they survived this long is beyond me, but that's beside the point. My problem is that, unfortunately, I'm running low on supplies.
I need you to collect three different things for me. First, Flint Spalls from the Flint scattered around here. It's everywhere, so that'll be easy. Second, Bulrush Heads from the Bulrushes by the river. Again, easy. Finally, I need you to reclaim some Steel Strikers from the Leafburnt Withered in Willette's Homestead. They don't need them anymore, right?
Flint Spalls, Bulrush Heads, and Steel Strikers, that's what I need. It shouldn't be too difficult to find everything, even those strikers at Willette's Homestead.
Some of these fool newcomers have been trying to just smash two stones together to make fire, like the only survival skills they have are out of a story! If they keep it up, I may just knock a few of their heads together, see what kinds of sparks I can get...
Welcome back. Glad to see you were able to find everything without a problem, and it looks like those Leafburnt didn't give you much trouble. Even if they did, you still made it back in one piece, hey?
Now to put all of these tinderboxes together... Ugh.
I'm glad you're competent enough to not need one of these... Hopefully the next batch of survivors is a bit more like you. I'd spend all my time hunting down parts for these tinderboxes if everyone was unprepared for life out here.
