Curse of the Ebony Hawk

Quest Giver:

So, how are you with scary stories? A traveler from the north just arrived, and brought a really spooky one to tell.

Up in the mountains to the north, there is a town called Sleepy Tallow. Half of the population were sailors, the other half were chandlers... hence the "Tallow", but that's not important. Anyway, the sailors came back from a perilous voyage one day, and had lost a man. No one would go into details as to how he died... but by the next morning, no one was left alive. Now, the traveler says, the village is populated only by their ghosts!

It's a pretty good story, isn't it? I bet you're curious about it, too! Do you think you could check into it, and maybe figure out what really happened up there?

I didn't scare you off with that story, did I? I mean, sure, there are Withered and creepy Undead Pirates and Corrupted on the island... and skeletons that walk around... and I've even heard of plant monsters in the far north... But those are different than ghosts!

Um... you don't think Sleepy Tallow really has ghosts, do you? They're not real, right?

Finish:

Well, you still look like yourself... and my hand doesn't pass through you, so you aren't a ghost. Ha! I knew it was just a story.

Wait, what? There really were ghosts there? That... no! You're teasing me!

But these pages you found... it seems like something really awful happened up there. Whether it was a curse or just another strange event on this island, you did end the suffering of whatever was up there. Just to be safe, though, I'll let everyone know to avoid the village.

Because now, I have to know that ghosts are real, and they're on this island with me...
