A Burning Question

Quest Giver:

I'm sure you are sick of dealing with the Corrupted by now, yes? Always Corrupted, everywhere around here. But I, I have a new problem for you.

To the south, past the Glass Lake, is the Eeriedune Graveyard and the village of Misty Borough. They are not Corrupted there, they are... something else. And the Corruption does not go there, you see. There are, of course, some Withered... they can be found anywhere the Corruption is not.

But the others, the Ghouls. They are different. They have lanterns, you see, with a strange light. Never filled, never fueled, always burning. I need to know what they are, I need you to bring them to me.

Progress:

You are not glowing with a strange light, so you must not have found any lanterns. They are quite distinct, you should have no problem seeing them.

South, beyond the Glass Lake and through the Eeriedune Graveyard, you will find the Miststride Ghouls. Return them to me, so I can disassemble them and uncover their secrets.

Finish:

What is this thing you bring me? There is no light, no glow, not even a flicker! Yet you say they are not broken... Hm. Whatever causes them to glow must come from the Ghouls themselves... I will ponder this.

You wonder about my need for these things? Just because I am made to guard this outpost does not mean my curiosity has died. We will fight, we will win, and I will return to my tinkering as before. My blade is kept sharp, and my mind must remain so as well.
