How to get a Logging Axe to harvest Trees in New World?

This guide will explain how you can get a Logging Axe to start harvesting Trees in the New World MMORPG. This step is very important because this tool allows you to start harvesting more resources at a time.

You can gather Wood from bushes, but you receive only 1-2 pieces of Wood from every bush. With an axe, you can start cutting Trees and receive at least 15 Wood per Tree! As you can see, having this tool in your inventory is essential for effective gathering.

Step 1. Place a Campfire not far from you. It gives you access to Wilderness Survival items crafting. This is very easy to do: press “Y” key, select a location for your Camp, and finish the job.

Step 2. Press “E” to use the Camp. You will see a Wilderness Survival crafting tab. As you see it allows to create a lot of useful stuff. Find a Hatchet in the menu.

Hover it to see what resources are required. You will need:

• 1 Flint
• 1 Wood

Step 3. Leave the camp and collect the required materials. They can be found pretty much everywhere because they are basic. You can harvest them without extra tools. We recommend collecting at least 5 pieces of each resource. This will save you time and will allow crafting more tools at once.
