I ponder something new. You have seen the Corrupted, still mostly human? There are others that are somehow changed, showing on the outside what is controlling them from the inside. A most unsettling sight, if you have not seen them before.
In the valley to the east is an Ancient ruin, Capitulum Prime. The writhing Corruption has taken hold there, and we have seen what we call the Gravespoil Vicars performing bizarre rituals there. They are some that have these changes most visible... and I would like to study these alterations.
Cleanse the ruins of these things, and bring me the twisted horns from their heads. I do not know what they do there, but you will stop it. This, I know.
I do not know what is causing these... growths? Whatever they are. But I am interested in finding this out. You shall acquire them, and I will study them.
The path down the mountain is easiest to the north, but do not go too far east, yes? The Corrupted at Svikin's Stand would be happy to send you back to Aeternum.

Mm-hm, yes. These are... strange, I do not know. The outside is fleshy, but inside is horn like goat. Unexpected. If all Corrupted do this over time, it would explain why blades have less effect the longer we fight. Is it age, length of Corruption? Something else? That could explain the giant beasts we have seen from a distance.
