No Mere Shot Across the Bow (Part 1) is a Quest in New World MMORPG. Objective: Begin your assault on the Pirate Stronghold by cutting down the Swivelshot Pirates of the Pride of Puckett and stealing their Musket Parts
Listen... I know you've already helped me out quite a bit, what with bringing back my spices and cutting down some of those Keelsnap bastards... but the settlement could use some more of your help with another group of pirates.
To the east, two pirate crews have rallied together under a leader, First Mate Misher, and built a stronghold to the east out of what's left of their ships. I'd like to ask you to cripple some of their ability to fight. They still use their pistols and muskets, so parts, ammunition, whatever you can find.
The biggest help would be to take down First Mate Misher, even for a little while. It may disorganize them just enough to scatter.
I know this is a huge favor to ask, but you'd be doing everyone around here a huge service. These pirates are becoming more brazen each day, and if they continue building strength, they'll attack the settlement soon enough.
That Misher, though... watch out for her. Last I'd heard, she had a pet alligator, Susanna, that she brings into any fight. Make sure you come back with your arms and legs intact, yeah?
